SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The last day of school for Sacramento City Unified School District students is Thursday. With summer break just days away, the district wants families to know its free summer meals program begins on June 24.

The free meals will be dished up on-site at roughly 50 school and community sites across the district. You can find a list of those sites here. Times vary by location.

The program is open to all those 18 years old or younger, regardless of their enrollment status with the district. Non-students are welcome. Read more
