Children across Sacramento can get free summer breakfast and lunches. Here’s where

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Free summer breakfast and lunch are available to all children under 18 years old in the greater Sacramento area.
Meals provided by the Sacramento City Unified School District are available at over 40 campuses and community locations.
Breakfast is available from 7:45-8:15 a.m. and lunch from 11:35-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“With the rising cost of food these days, I think families are definitely feeling the pinch, so they want to be able to find access and resources available to feed their kids during the summer and we’re happy to fill that need for them,” said Kelsey Nederveld, the assistant director of nutrition services at SCUSD.
No paperwork, income requirements, or enrollment in a SCUSD school is needed. The children simply need to be present during the meal.
